Gaaah this wedding was a DREAM. Not only was it stunning—like helloooo, look at those lush florals, that wooden backdrop (that the brides dad made himself!!), candles everywhere, long farmhouse table seating, all brick venue, neon sign…I could go on. But what really made this day special was Brianna, Danny, and their loved ones—-seriously. The emotion, the joy, the tears—the love in that room was just SO obvious. We filmed Brianna and Danny’s wedding back in our first year of business, but their film is still one that a lot of our couples are drawn to. I mean, heck…even I cry every time I watch it STILL (those toasts from dad get me!!).

An Interview with Brianna & Danny:
Any advice for others considering videography?


“If any part of you is considering hiring a videographer for your wedding, do it. 100%. It’s our favorite memory of our wedding day and when we watch the teaser, highlight, or the full ceremony/reception, we can transport ourselves back to that perfect day. I even have our highlight film link in a tab on my web browser app that I never, ever close. When I’m having a bad day, I watch that 6 minute video and feel all the love of that day all over again! Videos hold power that photos can’t always tap into. There’s something different about seeing just how big your smiles grow when you see your future spouse for the first time that day, the movement of your first dance, and your favorite people rocking to the best songs as they celebrate you.

What was most important to you with videography?

“We wanted someone who could do two things. 1) tell our unique story in a genuine and authentic way and 2) create art out of the best day of our lives thus far so that we can truly relive it all. We had hundreds of our favorite people present who had sacrificed so much and traveled from so far…We’ll never have that same group of people all together in the same room again, so to have video of it all makes us feel like we’re back to June 2018 and it’s so, so sweet.”

What would you tell someone thinking about hiring Bergfalk Film Co?

“Out of everyone we worked with, Bergfalk stands out above them all. They went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly and was just bliss. They know everything about weddings. They are magicians with their cameras. They’re experts in fun. They will make you feel like a long time friend. I’ll never forget how Natalie saw my Polaroid camera lying around and asked if I wanted her to snap a few pictures with it throughout the day. That was not in the contract! And yet those gems are some of my favorite documented moments. Bergfalk is really something special. I won’t recommend anyone else!”

What was your favorite part about working with Bergfalk Film Co?

“We loved how real they were throughout the entire process. Before we even met them, Natalie was so easy to talk to, was not pushy or gimmicky in the least, and really understood the type of video we had envisioned. When we were getting ready, taking couple photos, and even when we had alone time just the two of us between the ceremony and reception, Natalie and Nick were such an effortless dream team capturing everything without us even realizing they were there. When their contracted time was up at the end of the night, we were actually bummed that our time with them was over!”

Why did you pick Natalie & Nick?

“Their films were different. Trust me when I say that I’ve watched a lot of wedding day films over the years and so many of them share the same songs, the same intro, angles, poses, etc. We didn’t want our video to be ‘just another kind of decent wedding video’. We wanted the film to capture our emotions as well as candid moments, we didn’t ever want to feel like our day was interrupted by cameras in our faces, and we had to have a film that would be true to us. Natalie and Nick not only delivered in these ways, but went above and beyond to make it feel like we’d been friends with them for years! They are incredible at what they do and are straight magic behind the camera.”
